The lecture is free to attend but you do need to register using the online form.


Bristol Zero Tolerance Event, September 27th

Bristol Zero Tolerance and Bristol Women’s Voice invite you to join us for an evening of film, photography and discussion.

When: 27th September 2016 6.30-9.45pm

Where: The Station, Silver Street, Bristol BS1 2AG

We will explore the subject of gender-based violence through short films and a screening of hard-hitting US documentary Sin by Silence (2009) about convicted survivors of domestic abuse, followed by a panel discussion.

There will also be photographs from the See It From Her survivor project and other creative media to focus on addressing gender-based violence in Bristol and beyond.

Tickets: Tickets cost £3 plus a 30p booking fee.

WBG AGM Tuesday 20th September, 4.30-7pm, London

Join us for our AGM with Heather Wakefield! 


We are delighted to announce that Heather Wakefield, Unison's Head of Local Government, will be speaking at the WBG Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 20th September.

Heather has a long history as a trade unionist and activist, and was a founding member of the Pay Equity Campaign. She will be joining us to talk about the position of women in the labour market post-Brexit.
