Bristol project for women and jobs receives funding

The ROSA trust announced:

"This grant has been approved for: To introduce a gender dimension to Bristol’s new Temple Quay Enterprise Zone by representing local women, identifying ways to enable women to access employment, connecting women with skills providers/potential employers and influencing decision makers."


Bristol Women's Voice and partners put forward this bid to work with women in wards neighbouring the Enterprise Zone to identify and help remove the bariers to them accessing new jobs being created. At the same time, the Bristol Mayor has spoken of the need to invest in childcare and social care as infrastructure following up on the meeting organised by Fair Play SW last year. http://www.fairplaysouthwest.org.uk/events/398-childcare-conundrum-event-report-and-resources
